Ugly Betty, Elegant Binders

Yes!!! We've finally made it to Prime Time!

When ABC's fourth season of Ugly Betty premiers next Thursday the perceptive Michael Roger fan will catch a few familiar items as a new part of the show's set design. Both our orange and white cloth binders will be featured as well as our orange and white cigar style boxes.

She may not be the prettiest but she sure knows how to dress an office!

Mo-----ne

As part of our ongoing Moleskine watch, we bring you this hilarious legal warning from the company's Brand Terms.

The gist is that should a fellow get the urge to use the name Moleskine anywhere "in the net," said chap must first shoot Moleskine's corporate lawyers a quick email to confirm that he is, in fact, permitted to use that sacred word. He should know that his request will be "valued carefully," which may or may not mean that he will receive a cash reward for his troubles.

We love you too!

The Woodgrain Decomposition Book is now featured on weloveyouso.com, the official website for Spike Jonze's upcoming film "Where the Wild Things Are."

Big in Japan

Michael Roger now has its LP products in one of Tokyo's biggest vinyl department stores. "One of?" That's right, we need to specify -- the Japanese are very fond of vinyl. Our LP notebooks, jacket books, 45 photo albums and mini binders are now available at Dance Music Record, a mecca for fans of old school media: vinyl . . . books. Take a tour here.

Marcelo explains his project: "100 Mexican Amate bookmarks as party favors, plus the folder to keep them, for my friends Bud Collins (the tennis reporter) and his wife, Anita."
That's great, Marcelo. We are fans of traditional Amate paintings and you did a terrific job with your favors. We hope the party guests appreciated them!

Whenever customers make interesting art with our products, we're interested in taking a look!
Please send us photos of your work. We'll make it worth your while with a coupon for a discount on your next purchase from us.

Rachels's Corot Sketches
Rachel writes:
"I love your square recycled-paper memory books. . . . I used to take them to the Met on Friday nights and make sketches from my favorite Corots. A wonderful book for wonderful memories."
Thanks, Rachel! Those are lovely! We also remember Friday nights at the Met from our student days.
